2026 Jewelry Collection: Modern Antiquarian
2025 was a rough year for many jewelry artists out there with the price of silver sky rocketing by the second. It forced me to think outside the box and begin using alternative metals. I tried, copper, I tried brass and I was just not connecting with the metal…but pewter, pewter really sparked! Pewter sparked so much for me that I may permanently stick with it…maybe. I love working with it so much that it honestly feels like the metal chose me, not the other way around!
For my 2026 jewelry collection “Modern Antiquarian” expect lots of pewter. The jewelry collection is inspired by the Renaissance era, medieval armor, and antiquarian books. It is also inspired by my family’s nautical roots. When I am not making jewelry I am diving deep into genealogy and have been fortunate to trace my family history all the way back to the late 1400s. The family name is still carried today after all these centuries. You will find that many of my pieces this year will be inspired by my endless research into the past.
I will try to stick with elegant yet chunky and bold, romance meets warrior vibes. Elegant yet fierce.
This bracelet “The Water Beasts” is pressed in pewter. I added brass grommets to protect from wear, and embellished with quality bohemian crystals.
I wish everyone a very happy, healthy, and successful 2026. Cheers
